Flowers of wild mustard are yellow. The family name Cruciferae means "cross-shaped". All members of the Cruciferae, as wild mustard below, have 4 petals on their flowers that form a cross (left, center). Notice the cute pollinating insect on the cross (center). Seedheads and flowers right.
