  • Agronomy Freshman Learning Community
    A learning community for new first-year students in Agronomy that includes common courses, peer and faculty mentoring, field trips, linked English and Agronomy courses, social activities, and service learning.

Course-based learning communities are small groups of students in the same major who take classes together.

Interact more closely with peers and faculty.
Smaller groups taking classes together typically result in students getting to know each other and their teachers better. This creates a smooth transition to the college environment.

Courses offered on a learning community schedule fulfill core major and university requirements. You will register for a block of classes that has been reserved especially for you.
