Undergraduate Agronomy Club
Welcome to the Undergraduate Agronomy Club homepage!
The Iowa State Agronomy Club is a student organization that promotes student involvement among undergraduate students and faculty. The club gathers every other week to discuss new topics that are occurring in agriculture and to promote activities that are taking place on campus. Club activities include weekly doughnut and pizza sales, VEISHEA grilling, hand-harvesting, and regional and national meetings. Within these activities, students can also participate in speech and poster contests, crops and soil judging, and many other activities.
One of the main goals of the club is to bring in employers of the agriculture industry to discuss opportunities within their companies. These employers talk about all aspects of agriculture, including how to get started in the industry after college and what they look for in a future employee.
