Welcome to the Agronomy 114 Distance Course!!

Agronomy 114, Principles of Agronomy utilizes science and knowledge to help students understand the principles of plant growth and food production, the ecological components of plant growth, agricultural sustainability, and environmental management of rural landscapes.

In this course, besides the textbook , students can utilize the advanced learning tools of an interactive computer program we developed called CIMPLE - Computer Interactive Multimedia Program for Learning Enhancement. CIMPLE provides learning objectives, diagnostic quizzing programs, video tutoring, learning aids, practice learning programs, problem solving exercises, and more.

Please contact us whenever you have questions or need guidance. The faculty instructors enjoy the opportunity to help you learn the material in this course. The future and sustainability of our food production systems depend on people like you!

To use CIMPLE, you will need to have the Authorware Player and Realplayer .
