did you become interested in Ag? A
care for the land and environmental stewardship led me to study agriculture. Your
prior work experience: Worked in a
weed science lab while at the spent time
on an organic farm in of 2005. Hobbies/Interest: Spending time outdoors with friends or
family. Viewing and participating in
sports. Listening to music. Enjoying life. What
do you think are some of the challenges in the future of agriculture? I believe
that agriculture's ability to provide food, feed, seed, and bio-energy in an ecologically sound and thoughtful way is a
great challenge that needs to be addressed. Be it through a cooperation
of both organic and conventional processes as well as technical innovation,
the rules of ecology must be paramount. Also the current movement of
buying local and supporting local producers is a trend I would like to see continued. |
