Carol Cornelious, Seed Analyst    (515) 294-5843
Carol handles varietal purity analysis on all samples for the association. She also assists with field inspections, ear inspections, and many other association projects.

Rick Erickson, Crop Records Specialist    (515) 294-6923
Rick handles paperwork and maintains the computer database of all records related to production of small grains, soybeans, and hybrid corn. He also maintains label and approved conditioner records.

Kelly manages the Foundation Corn, Native Species, and Approved Conditioner programs for the association.

Jim oversees all business operations for the Iowa Crop Improvement Association and serves as the primary contact for the organization.

Doan Schmitz, Program Coordinator    (515) 294-6268
Doan manages the day-to-day activities of the association’s certification activities including field inspections, seed inspections, and labeling. He also recruits and hires field inspectors and other temporary employees as well as manages the computerized database of records for the association.

Phetsavanh maintains accounting and financial records of the association and assists in the operation and implementation of audit-based programs.

Jessica Vogel, Marketing & Member Relations    (515) 294-6921
Jessica handles many of the administrative duties for ICIA. Additionally, she creates and distributes promotional materials for the association including seed directories, newsletters, and media releases. She also prepares meeting and training materials for association activities and maintains the ICIA website.

Eileen Wuebker, Assistant Director    (515) 294-0546
Eileen manages all aspects of the association’s seed certification, Identity Preserved, and Quality Assurance programs. She also coordinates ICIA’s educational and promotional efforts and works with members and the industry in development and implementation of new programs.
