Corn Breeding

Leader of a project to beed corn for low-input, sustainable farming systems. Develops maize germplasm for value-added traits including starch and oil quality. U.S. Principal Investigator for the Latin American Maize Project (LAMP) 1985 to project completion. Coordinator of U.S. Germplasm Enhancement of Maize (GEM) project from inception to 2002.
