My research area is in quantitative genetics and breeding of maize.  My primary focus is on plant density response and genotype by environment interaction.  I am working a project to develop crop model calibrations for a set of maize hybrids using traditional and high-throughput phenotyping methods in order to develop improved methods of modeling and predicting genotype by environment interactions.

I also have interests in the application of Bayesian statistical methods to multi-environment plant breeding trials and quantitative genetic models for inbreeding depression and heterosis.
