I provide technical and education support for Extension forage production and management information and education programs for Extension staff, agribusiness clientele, producers, governmental agencies, and other forage management educational needs throughout Iowa. My contribution to applied research initiatives in forage management and utilization benefits the Extension educational efforts. I teach a class (Agronomy 334) which emphasizes forage quality and forage utilization practices. In addition, I serve on Departmental and University committees, represent the Department on clientele board and agency committees, interact with and provide information to media contacts, advise graduate student, and provide scholarly service to professional societies.
