Soybean Breeding

Soybean breeding research is conducted for genetic modification of seed yield; resistance to brown stem rot, soybean cyst nematode, and Phtophthora rot; and traits for food products including small seed size, large seed size, high protein, altered palmitate, stearate, oleate, linoleate, linolenate, and reduced lipoxygenase.
