IPPM Annual Retreats (1995-2007)

Annual Faculty/Student retreat is an event held in every fall semester (usually late August or early September) that serves as a forum to welcome IPPM new students and faculty.

Typically 5-6 faculty members who are recruiting graduate students to their program give 20-min lectures outlining their research projects. Graduate students also bring posters to show case their research progress. Most importantly, this event provides faculty and students with an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange and personal interaction. Outdoor group activities or games may also included.
