About

-2004. Bachelor degree in Agronomy from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main goal of the undergraduate thesis was to characterize barley mutants with altered gibberellic acid synthesis or sensitivity for determining their ability to produce an important enzyme for the brewing industry.

-2005. Genetics Institute “Ewald A. Favret”. National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). Castelar. Buenos Aires. Argentina. Function: Evaluation of physiological responses of barley mutants to gibberellic acid. Collaborations with AFLP markers linked to sexual or apomictic origin of Cenchrus ciliaris L. and, AFLP mapping in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) for resistance to blue disease.

-2007. Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology Department. Dr. MacIntosh lab. Iowa State University. Ames, Iowa. Function: Lab assistance to graduate students. Focused on DNA repair experiments in Arabidopsis thaliana. Greenhouse growth and maintenance of plants.

-2009. MSc degree in the Genetics program at Iowa State University. The objective of the thesis was to evaluate soybean aphid resistance germplasm and identify resistance mechanism related to plant chemical composition. Advisors: Dr. Gustavo Macintosh and Dr. Matthew O’Neal.

-2017. Employee in an agro-biotechnology company. Working in developing a soybean breeding program based on yield gain. Involved in local and overseas deregulation and adoption of soybean transgenic technology associated to drought tolerance.
