As a crop physiologist, I study the mechanisms underlying the response of grain crops to the changing environmental conditions, above- and below-ground plant. The environmental factors included: soil type, fertilization and irrigation, among other less manageable factors, such as temperature, drought and photoperiod. I am well trained in maize, wheat, barley and soybean crops. My approach applies plant breeding and crop modeling.
