2020-2021 Brown Graduate Fellowship Program Recipients

The 2020-2021 Brown Graduate Fellowship Program as administered by ISU’s Office of the Vice President of Research. This fellowship is to be used to strategically advance ISU research in the areas of study that are governed by the Valentine Hammes Family and Leopold Hammes Brown Family Trust. Fellowship funds (maximum request of $10K) can be used to assist current graduate students or by graduate programs in the recruitment of new graduate students.

Graduate student are eligible that

  • have a GPA of 3.5 or above
  • a total GRE score for verbal plus quantitative of 320 or above and a GRE analytical writing score of 4.0 is recommended but not required
  • preference is to fund Ph.D. students, although exceptional M.S. students will be considered
  • performing research on a project related to science, agriculture, or space science

Across the entire University, only 14 awards were given this year. Congratulations to the FIVE winners from Agronomy programs!
