  2. Refer to the Agronomy Shared Lab Handbook and receive site specific training.

Required ISU EH&S Online Safety Lab Courses @ Workday Learning

  • Laboratory Safety: Core Concepts (required every 3 years)
  • Fire Safety & Extinguisher Training (required annually)
    • Emergency Response Guide Video (required every 3 years)

Safety Training Curriculum for Lab Personnel (PDF) – additional required training depending on research needs

Online Hazard Inventory Form: required at beginning of research and when research changes

Membership

The annual (FY) membership fee for the lab is $1,000.

  • Access to the lab’s 10 spaces and diverse equipment
  • Membership supports regular consumables in the lab and expenses associated with basic equipment maintenance.
  • How to join you ask? Simple!! Provide a Worktag#/Departmental Detail # and signature on intramural and send to Dani Clark.

The daily fee for the lab is $20.00/day.

  • Equipment access is needed sporadically.
