Research Team

The GLSI Research Team brings together faculty, staff, and students who fuse field pedology, geospatial analytics, and modern computing to turn soil data into decisions. Co-leaders, research assistants, undergraduate staff, and collaborators work side by side to design methods, build statewide datasets and map libraries, and publish open, reproducible tools that advance soil classification, digital soil mapping, and land-use applications. Our culture is hands-on and forward-looking—combining fieldwork, lab analysis, and code to solve real management questions in agriculture, conservation, and climate resilience.
