As of March 2014

Interpretation:

Older publications (especially pre-1990s) may be outdated and lack modern digital mapping, high-resolution elevation data, or recent soil series revisions. More recent reports (2000 and later) generally reflect updates in taxonomy, classification, and technological enhancements in mapping.

Resolution:

County-level publication data; displayed as a statewide static image

Suggested Use:

Useful for identifying which counties may need updated surveys, understanding the age of the underlying soil data used in current land evaluations, and assessing the reliability of soil interpretations for various land uses.
