About

I have worked as a sorghum breeder at ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics) and potato breeder at CIP (International Potato Center). I was also involved in rice breeding work with Pioneer Hi-Bred International (Corteva Agri-Science). My area of expertise is stress breeding, plant-microbe interactions, citizen science, participatory plant breeding, sorghum phytochemicals, nutraceuticals, RFOs, sorghum, and soybean genetics.
