Plant Breeding Seminar, Ryan Budnik

Ryan Budnik, executive director, Iowa Crop Improvement Association (ICIA) will present a seminar on “Iowa Crop Improvement Association: Seed Certification & State Yield Tests” on Wed., January 31, in Agronomy 2020, 3:10-4:10pm. This seminar is sponsored by Carolyn-Lawrence Dill and will also be available via Zoom.
ICIA is a nonprofit organization designated as the official seed certifying agency for the state. ICIA is composed of member companies and individuals working in the seed industry and advancing seed and crop improvement. ICIA’s portfolio includes managing the official variety trials for both corn and soybeans, phytosanitary field inspections, as well as the moisture meter inspections for the state of Iowa. Budnik has a BS in Genetics and MS in Plant Breeding from Iowa State University. More information
